Solar Opposites: The show I storyboard on.

I’m so proud of my stint on this show and with the amazing crew. No lie, this crew heal me from all of the mess I dealt with at Dreamworks. With an emphasis on tight and inclusivity, the Rick and Morty crew is prob my fave group to work with. lots of cursing and straight talk, I just wished the hiatuses weren’t so long. lol other than that, it’s been the best experience on a show in a while. I mean, they welcomed us to work from home or leave early as long as work gets done… amazing. Factoring in Pay, work-scale, crew, Ex-Producer relations, and culture overall. Yup, this studio is rated high on my scale.

Anyways, check out the show I’ve been working on. May 8th on Hulu. YEEYAAAH!

WE ARE ON TWITCH!!!

It took some time, but I’ve finally suited up my twitch account. I’ve always wasn’t to go in a more indie route, Twitch, Patreon, and Kickstarter being very ideal for someone like myself. After such a horrible experience working at Dreamworks under an unnamed a***le, and finding a great work culture in the house of Rick and Morty, I skipped around a bit. After a brief stint on Magic the Gathering TV show, I decided to take a much needed break.

A break… I hadn’t had a break in a few years and I was feeling pretty jaded about the industry culture. I wanted to build my own platform and be my own boss. Of course, however, I was hit up by WB feature AND WB animation. Both inquiring about developing work. I’ll tell you how they most likely came upon me in the future. So I worked from home, developing and getting paid a full-time rate… more than Dreamworks had paid me. More than Lucasfilms had paid me. That and the fact that WB seemed to want me for dev work instead of storyboard work meant a lot. I might just be stepping off into a new branch. Storyboarding had been boring me. I don’t want to give unworthy shows the best of me. I’m not being spiteful, I’m just recognizing my natural behavior.

Only a few shows actually get me excited to work on them. I do my best works when I have freedom and am truly engaged with the project. The industry is scarce of new and exciting ideas… Only a few here and there.

Anyway, I’m coming up on the end of the developing work and I remembered that I wanted to get into streaming at some point. So here I am. Twitch, Patreon, and the whole sha-bang. I’ll be live streaming and serving some lessons. I even went and started a blog here. So drop in and don’t say I never gave ya anything.

Love you, bye.
