so lately, I’ve been redlining storyboards for some folks who want to break into the animation industry doing storyboards. A bunch of youhave been having issues with the basics and instead of telling you to go read a book, I want to share a sheet a pal of mine shared with me. I also don’t want to keep repeating myself in my redlines.
And don’t take my straight forward tone as a jab. I was a mess when I landed my storyboarding job on StarWars Rebels. I only knew my basics by instinct but when it came time to revise shots, my own lack of knoawledge shined through. So I had to get the basics down quick. so don’t feel bad about it. here’s how we can fix your issue. things you should keep in mind when you are boarding.
